New Life Church is led by Phil Dowling. He is married to Liz, and they have three children: Paul and Ruth are married, and Hannah attends a local secondary school.
Phil has led the church since it started, and before that he led Southside Family Church in Bedford. Prior to leading churches, Phil was a Police Officer for over 23years.
Phil enjoys (if that is the right word!) keeping fit, which seems to get harder all the time. In particular he likes running. He has run three marathons and numerous half marathons. He is a keen follower of sport and supports the only United that really matters – Newcastle! He is now getting used to life in the Premiership.
