Lifegroups

New Life Church Lifegroups We believe that church is much more than just a Sunday meeting. It is God’s people living their daily lives in His love and power. To help us do that more effectively we encourage everyone to be part of a small group that shares Christian community and helps and encourages us in our Christian growth. Church meetings in people’s homes date right back to the early church described in the book of Acts:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47).

Lifegroups are where we live out church life.

Lifegroups are where we learn to grow in grace and faith.

Lifegroups are where we encourage and care for one another in life’s struggles.

Lifegroups are where people can find life and meet with Jesus.

Lifegroups are where new people find a welcome and the church multiplies.

On the first Thursday of the month the Lifegroups meet together.
